                                      Paithani : A journey through tradition and culture Paithani is a saree , named after the Paithani town in Aurangabad district from state of Maharashtra in India where the Sari was first made by hand. Present day Yeola town in Nashik, Maharashtra is the largest Manufacturer of Paithani . A Paithani is gold and silk saree .A influence of the Buddhist painting can be seen on the woven saree like- Lotus, peacocks, Hans , Pheasant , Amar vell , Motifs.
